Wireframing
This blog I will talk about creating a wireframe for a website. Before actually developing and coding a website it’s good to create some kind of blueprint. This is an effective way to create different concepts in a cost and time effective manner.
As I’m aiming to create a website for a professional football club it is key to have beautiful aesthetic pictures as soon as you open the homepage. I would like to focus on that emotional connection that a lot of people feel if it comes to the football club they support. So I would like to create a big headlining area featuring photos, media and advertisements of club merchandise articles. The top of the homepage will consist of a button bar, club logo, main business partner logo, button to the fanshop and a search bar.
Scrolling down on the homepage I would like to add more general information like news articles and videos. Besides the news articles, the mid section of the homepage will consist of an advertisement banner, countdown clocks to the next game and the league table with current standings.
Scrolling down to the final section of the homepage on the bottom of the screen some further general info will be added. It will mainly consist of banners with the next few games on the calendar, cover flow of fanshop merchandise and a link to the fanshop.
your project seems to be very interesting, Daniel !! I'm a big fan of football!
